Fan Base Helps Jeep Win Automotive Loyalty Award

For years, Jeep owners and fans across the country have made Jeep a lifestyle as much as a car brand. Now, Jeep and their fan base are being recognized with a 2011 Polk Award.

Jeep topped off an already great year with the 2011 Polk Award for Most Improved Loyalty to Make. Polk studies trends and marketing in the auto industry, and they are some of the world’s foremost experts on brand loyalty. In 2011, Jeep’s sales increased 44 percent when the industry as a whole saw an 11 percent increase. Even better, the sales have increased for every Jeep model by at least 30 percent, so it isn’t just one popular model holding up the brand.

In 2012, Jeep plans to keep their happy customers coming back by doing what they do best: making great cars. They won awards from Petersen’s 4 Wheel and Off-Road, Four Wheeler Magazine, Popular Mechanics, and AutoWeek Magazine. The Jeep Cherokee is the most awarded SUV of all time, and going into 2012, they plan to win more awards than ever before.
