Jeep Renegade, Patriot Have Record Setting May

Jeep has been consistently the most popular brand in the Fiat-Chrysler family.  For months now, it has been the one really propping up the FCA in America.  FCA has certainly noticed.  They’ve reallocated resources into the Jeep brand in order to meet this surge of demand and are refocusing the future of the company into this.  If May’s sales were any indication, it is clear that the Jeep is still the choice of the future for FCA.

Jeep had a record setting May which helped FCA keep their sales record streak going.  This makes 74 months in a row of year-over-year sales gains.  Jeep’s record was a first, however.  Jeep sales topped 90,000 for the first time ever in all of its 75 years of production.  Not a bad record to set in its 75th anniversary.

The Jeeps that helped obtain this record is the Compass, Renegade, and the Patriot.  Each one managed to set its own record sales number for May.  The Renegade and the Patriot both had their best monthly sales ever.  This is the 32nd consecutive month that Jeep has posted a month of year-over-year sales gains.

2016 Jeep Renegade Scores With the Hispanic Motor Press Awards!

At the sixth annual Hispanic Motor Press Awards at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2016 Jeep Renegade won in the “SUV Compact” segment.

“The committee had a very tough time selecting this year’s Autos de Hoy,” said the judge director Ricardo Rodriguez-Long.  “Still, the on- and off-road driving dynamics of the Jeep Renegade and the best-in-class hauling capability of the Ram 3500 each stood out as a great vehicle option for Hispanic families in the United States.”

The people making the choices of which cars are the best is a committee of 16 Hispanic automotive journalists.  Each person has one vote to determine which is the best value for Hispanic families.  The vehicles all get tested and evaluated for design, comfort, safety, performance, and others.

The Jeep Renegade has been one of the most popular new SUVs on the market.  It was designed by some of the youngest members on the Jeep team and made for the purpose of attracting a new younger crowd to Jeep.  It has since begun a claim in the sales charts and has won over numerous critics.  The Jeep Renegade seems to be making a name for  itself by racking up the awards, just like the other members of the Jeep family.

Jeep Renegade and Wrangler Top Kelley Blue Book’s Most Awarded Vehicles of 2015!

Kelley Blue Book has put together their list of the most awarded vehicles of 2015 and it is most definitely a good thing for Jeep.  Two from the Jeep line-up made the list.  One of the oldest and most popular Jeeps, and one that is brand-new.

The obvious one is the Jeep Renegade.  The little guy of the family is really getting a running start out of the gate.  It has been catching on and is really starting to prove itself as the excellent starter SUV it was intended to be.  It might be small in size, but it still nabbed plenty of awards from KBB including ’10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000’, ’10 Tech-Saviest Cars Starting Under $20,000’, and ’10 Most Fun SUVs.”

The other Jeep is the Wrangler, which is not really a surprise when looking at the critical history of the Wrangler. There is a reason it has stuck around in the public eye for so long and continues to be one of the best-selling vehicles under the Chrysler banner.  Among its numerous awards from KBB, the 2015 Wrangler was on their ’10 Most Fun SUVs’, ’10 Coolest Cars Under $25,000’, and ’10 Best SUVs Under 25,000.’

Jeep has been extremely popular the last few months in the US.  Seeing how just two of the Jeep vehicles have made so many popular lists according to Kelley Blue Book, it is easy to see why everyone wants a Jeep.
