New Jeep Patriot Altitude Announced

The Jeep Patriot seems to be mad that so many other vehicles such as the Dodge Dart and the Grand Cherokee are stealing its thunder. A new announcement is bound to bring the spotlight back on it, though.

This stems from the winning name of the Jeep “Name My Ride” contest. The name Altitude was officially awarded for the new fully decked out vehicle. The Wrangler, Compass, and Grand Cherokee have already gotten their similar Altitude editions, but the Patriot makes sure to bring a unique flair to the design.

The Jeep Patriot Altitude has the driver speeding down the street and over any off-road obstacles on 17-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels. The Patriot Altitude has a subtle shine thanks to the chrome and polished steel on the lower fascia, the rear step pad appliques, and a bright polished steel roof rails.

This novel design work isn’t just on the outside, but also extends into the interior. Features that the Altitude puts into the interior design includes features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel and audio controls, premium Cubic/Duet cloth bucket seats. Buyers have the choice of a standard four-speaker system or, if they want more bang for their buck, there’s the Boston Acoustics Premium Sound System with a 368-watt amplifier.

The Jeep Patriot Altitude is available for a limited time only, so make sure to get into Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge for a test drive. You can view the entire line-up of Jeep products on the online showroom as well. Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for up to date news on Jeep.

Jeep Partners with the Boys and Girls Club of America to Offer a Dream Adventure

Jeep and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America had a question for 4 million kids. The questions was, “What would you do in this big world if you could do anything you wanted?” A tall question, one that I have plenty of answers to, and one that I’m sure anyone reading this has an immediate answer to. To the children who decided to answer the call, however, a prize package awaits them with the “Dream Adventure Contest.”

To enter, children ages 6-12 shared their illustrations of the answer, and ages 13-18 had 60 second videos that went over what their dream adventure would be. The contestants were then graded on creativity, visual impact, and if there was a compelling title. The top four winners in each of the age groups were then given the prizes that they could enjoy with family and friends.

“Like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Jeep brand believes it is essential to encourage today’s youth – our future leaders – to dream out loud; and that with commitment and determination there is possibility,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO of Jeep Brand. “The Jeep brand is proud of all the participants who submitted entries and we congratulate all of the grand prize winners as well as the Clubs who will enjoy the Jeep-themed events on behalf of their winner.”

What would you do if you could do anything? If that answer revolves around purchasing a Jeep from Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge, then you’re in luck, because by just clicking on this link, you can see the line up online. If that isn’t your answer, there’s not much I can do to help then. Be sure to also like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to stay current with Jeep news and events.

Build Your Dream Jeep Wrangler, Win a Trip to Washington D.C.!

To celebrate Jeep teaming up with USA Basketball, Jeep is holding a contest for the best customized 2012 Jeep Wrangler.

The Power By Design Sweepstakes encourages people to go to Jeep.com and create their own Jeep using different colors, hard or soft tops, and USA Basketball decals. There are additional options like different color treatments or backgrounds that can be unlocked by playing Jeep’s online basketball game and earning points. After completing a custom 2012 Jeep Wrangler, people can share their car on Twitter, Facebook, or e-mail and finish entering the contest. The grand prize winner will receive their customized 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as well as a trip for two to see a USA Basketball Exhibition Game in Washington D.C.

I love the way that Jeep has put this contest together. The prize is perfect for Jeep and USA Basketball, and the contest allows people to engage both brands and share their finished Jeep on Facebook. Besides that, I would love to win that trip to Washington D.C. and the Jeep Wrangler.
