7 Must-Buy Reasons for the 2015 Jeep Renegade

7 Reasons to Buy the 2015 Jeep Renegade at Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge

The new Jeep Renegade is a new approach to the SUV from Jeep.  It has been designed for newer drivers looking to gain entrance into the magical realm of Jeep.  It is one of the company’s first attempts at a small SUV on this level and from the reviews and sales, it seems that the Renegade is starting to take off.  To help promote the little guy even more, Jeep has 7 reasons you need to get yourself a Renegade.

  1. Take on Any Challenge:

The joy of the Jeep is when the road less traveled is the road taken.  The Renegade may seem small, but it is packed with all the features and capability associated with the Jeep brand.  The Renegade also has the class-exclusive available Select-Terrain Dial with Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud settings.  The Trailhawk model comes with an additional Rock setting.  No matter the model of Renegade, however, you’re still getting the same high quality.

  1. Get Some Sun:

Another class-exclusive for the Renegade is the available My Sky open-air roof.  Perfect for that summer day where you just want to feel the air rushing through and get some sun.  This sun roof has another advantage; the panels can be removed and stored away in back letting the driver adjust as the weather dictates.

  1. High-Quality Transmission:

The Renegade comes with one of Chrysler brand’s biggest developments in years; the nine-speed automatic transmission.  It provides unparalleled efficiency, something that is important in helping younger buyers out at the gas pump.

  1. Always See Where You’re Going:

Off-road or on-road, it is important to see what is going on up ahead.  The Renegade’s class exclusive cornering fog lamps help with increased visibility in harsher conditions, including heavy fog, snow, and rainfall.

  1. Performance Worthy of the Jeep Legend:

As stated before, the Renegade may be small but that hasn’t stopped the engineers from creating one of the most capable small SUVs on the market.  The Renegade proudly wears the Trail Rated badge like the rest of the family and with best-in-class 4×4 capability and its two available Active Drive systems, the Renegade is ready for adventure.

  1. High-Quality Technology:

The Uconnect system is one of the most popular in auto technology and the Renegade has it available on a 6.5-inch touchscreen.  That gives the driver access to hands-free calling, GPS, and various music and radio choices.

  1. Comfort in One of the Best Interiors:

The 2015 Jeep Renegade was named on Ward’s 10 Best Interiors for 2015.  From the size of the interior to the materials used on the paneling and seating, comfort is important in the Renegade.  To help even more, the Renegade has additional features such as available heated steering wheel and available dual-zone automatic climate control.

2014 Jeep Cherokee vs Grand Cherokee

2014-jeep-cherokee-2-optThe auto world, like many things, is filled with comparisons. How does this car stack up to that car? It’s the way things are. The comparison that the Sacramento Bee wanted to see was just how the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee stacked up to the king of the brand, the Grand Cherokee.

First up is the engine. The Cherokee will have the choice of a V6 or a 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine. The four-cylinder is capable of 31 MPG on the highway and can go 490 miles in a single fill-up. The V6 on the other hand gets 271 horsepower.

The Grand Cherokee with its engine gets 290 horsepower but lacks the fuel mileage. The only way for it to get into the 30s range is to have the EcoDiesel V6 engine.

One thing to note that the Cherokee has over the Grand Cherokee is that it will have new nine-speed transmission. The Grand Cherokee will still only have eight-speed transmission.

The Jeep Cherokee seems poised to offer a new form of luxury and comfort that doesn’t take away from the quality of the Jeep’s typical capability. While the new design might have taken time for fans to appreciate, they’ve seemingly gotten on board for the potential of something new and ground-breaking.
