2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab: Perfect for the Off-Road Warrior

There’s been a lot of news recently revolving around what Jeep is planning for the years to come. We covered it here, with new models being presented and details into what the current line-up will be getting. That’s only half the story it would seem as Jeep has put out details on yet another new model they will be putting out.

Jeep has announced the release of the Jeep Wrangler Moab. The name comes from one of the most celebrated places in the world to take a 4×4 out to and traverse around in. The Wrangler Moab is based upon the Wrangler Sarhara model and is decked out to handle the worst that nature has to offer. To do this, the Wrangler Moab will have 17-inch Rubicon allow wheels mated to Kevlar reinforced Goodyear Silent Armor off-road tires.

As far as exterior features are concerned, the Wrangler Moab comes equipped with unique Mopar power dome hood. It also has a black fuel filler door and tail lamp guards, matte black Jeep grille bade, and Moab decals on the hood of the vehicle. There’s even an optional body-color three-piece hard top.

The interior also manages to include some modifications to perfectly suit the outside warrior that will be traveling the wild wonders of the out-doors. The seats are premium black leather with the black stitching on the newly designed 2013 Wrangler seats. There’s a Moab embossed instrument panel grab handle and Mopar slush mats. The vent rings, steering wheel spokes, and grab handles have an iron gray trim.

This new Jeep model is, as Mike Manley, President and CEO of Jeep Brand said, all about taking the Jeep to a new height of capability. It’s looks to be a definite must for anyone looking to conquer off-road with power and fashion in one package.

New Jeep Patriot Altitude Announced

The Jeep Patriot seems to be mad that so many other vehicles such as the Dodge Dart and the Grand Cherokee are stealing its thunder. A new announcement is bound to bring the spotlight back on it, though.

This stems from the winning name of the Jeep “Name My Ride” contest. The name Altitude was officially awarded for the new fully decked out vehicle. The Wrangler, Compass, and Grand Cherokee have already gotten their similar Altitude editions, but the Patriot makes sure to bring a unique flair to the design.

The Jeep Patriot Altitude has the driver speeding down the street and over any off-road obstacles on 17-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels. The Patriot Altitude has a subtle shine thanks to the chrome and polished steel on the lower fascia, the rear step pad appliques, and a bright polished steel roof rails.

This novel design work isn’t just on the outside, but also extends into the interior. Features that the Altitude puts into the interior design includes features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel and audio controls, premium Cubic/Duet cloth bucket seats. Buyers have the choice of a standard four-speaker system or, if they want more bang for their buck, there’s the Boston Acoustics Premium Sound System with a 368-watt amplifier.

The Jeep Patriot Altitude is available for a limited time only, so make sure to get into Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge for a test drive. You can view the entire line-up of Jeep products on the online showroom as well. Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for up to date news on Jeep.
